Day 3-- My Parents
Sunday, November 28, 2010 @ 3:15 AM

You taught me how to walk, speak, live life and I thank you for that. You are more than the parent a ever great parent would be.

Dear Mama and Papa,

Ever since I was ever-so-tiny, both of you took care of me(and brother.) It isn't an easy job. Yes I know. Starting from...
- Mom got brother and I,
- Mom in labour...
- Needa think of a name ( a special one) For the both of us,
-teaching us things that school will never teach ( Learning to walk, first words...)
- Admin work ( Taking passports, school... )
...
As I grow older, I go to school, I learn new things...
I start to learn how to scold.
You taught me how to respect.
All these things are your works.

You taught me discipline;
you taught me loyalty;
you taught me about feelings;
you taught me consequences;
you taught me how to pick myself up when I fall;
you taught me independence;
you taught me safety;
you taught me LOVE;
LAST OF ALL, YOU TAUGHT ME
LIFE

I took this from a video- A Letter From Mom and Dad.
Now, I'm gonna change it to A Letter To Mom and Dad.

A letter to mom and dad.
My parents, when you get old, I will understand and have patience in you.
In case you break a plate, or spill soup on the table because you're loosing you're eyesight. I will not yell at you.
When your hearing gets worse, and you can't hear what I'm saying, I will not call you deaf. I would repeat what I say or pen it down.
When your knees get weaker, I'll have the patience to help you up; Like how you used to help me when I was little-Learning to walk.
I will bear with you when you keep repeating yourself, I will just keep listening to you. I won't make fun of you or get sick of listening you. I remembered when I was little and I wanted a balloon... I repeated myself over and over until I get what I wanted.
I will pardon your smell. I won't force you to shower if you don't like it. I remember when I was little, you chased me around because I didn't want to shower.
I will be patient with you when you're cranky. I know, it's part of getting old.
I will have spare time to talk to you... You won't be all by yourself.
Even if i'm busy at work, I'll still make time for you. I remembered when I was little, you used to listen to my stories about my teddy bear...
When the time comes... if you are ill or bedridden, I'll have the patience to take care of you. If you accidentally make a mess or wet the bed, it's okay.
I will take care of you- Until your last momments in your life, I'll be with you.
And I will hold your hand and give you the strength to carry on...
